ANDY CLAVERIE
About me
Andy Claverie (she/her) is a Mexican dancer whose training began in ballet and contemporary dance under the guidance of Alejandra De Velasco and former principal dancer Laura Morelos. From a young age, she competed nationally and internationally in prestigious competitions such as The Dance Awards, JUMP, and TDR, earning multiple first-place and gold awards. Her performance experience also extends to live television, where she was a semi-finalist on Mexico’s Got Talent, advancing with a golden buzzer.
Alongside dance, Andy has cultivated a deep passion for acting and singing, leading to her casting in Billy Elliot The Musical in Mexico City and Gibby La Aventura Musical, both of which toured nationally. Andy furthered her training at Adamson’s Ballet School in Houston, Texas, and participated in classes at Houston Ballet. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Contemporary Dance at the Boston Conservatory, where she continues to expand her artistic voice through collaborations and mentoring under renowned artists and choreographers. She remains committed to sharing her work and creative vision through her own choreographic projects in Mexico City. In parallel, she is working on her own music as a singer-songwriter and is preparing to release original music in the near future.
